MEETING

A mysterious vacuum surrounds the scene of a diplomatic meeting. Three whisky glasses, one of them overturned, a decanter, and an ashtray containing cigar remnants tell of an encounter whose outcome remains hidden.

Corruption, power struggles, and dubious interests linger in the air. The spilled whisky and the traces left behind suggest a secret pact at the highest level.

The marble sculpture becomes a petrified piece of evidence from an encounter that hardly suggests harmony. Strategic interests appear to take precedence, while others bear the consequences. Marble and charred wood merge into an image of hierarchical power structures.
