NordArt 2026: 6. Juni – 4. Oktober 2026

On the grounds of the historic Carlshütte in Schleswig-Holstein, international art tells a shared story of our time. NordArt, one of Europe’s largest art exhibitions, takes place this year from 6 June to 4 October.

The exhibition is newly conceived and curated each year. Every year, NordArt receives around 3,000 applications from all over the world. The Carlshütte, where iron was once smelted, is now a melting pot of a very different kind: despite the differing perspectives of individual cultures, it becomes clear that East and West, South and North share many hopes and dreams. The selected works stand for the exchange between cultures and their views of the world.stehen für den Austausch verschiedener Kulturen und deren Blick auf die Welt.

“Art seeks answers to everything that moves and touches people, and people can find answers in art. It reflects our fears, but it also embodies our shared hope for a better, brighter tomorrow. Art can let the soul dream and create confidence—in a language that all people understand. We are grateful that with NordArt we can give space to this non-verbal dialogue,” says NordArt’s chief curator, Wolfgang Gramm.

I’m delighted to be part of NordArt for the third time. This year, I’m presenting a larger work: „Dialog“.
