T R Ô N E

On a tous besoin de rêver (Everyone has the need to dream)
An inflatable armchair made of marble floats in an oval, round pool of water. The “plastic” chair sits enthroned in a large puddle. In the pool in front of the throne lies a stepping stone, slightly below the water surface, intended to make climbing the throne easier. At the edge of the basin stands a stainless-steel tap that serves as a water source. An inflatable armchair made of marble floats in an oval, round pool of water. An invitation to dream..
The throne is a symbolic image of the fantasies of all dreams. It invites you to sit on it and dream. A venture not without risk… you might get wet… Originally in the form of an inflatable plastic armchair, easy to burst, the object appears confusing in marble – soft, yet also stable and secure.
Even if reality is hard, like the marble, and the plastic throne threatens to burst, dreaming should still be possible…
