Water addresses water as the basis of existence for all forms of life. In the bound form of a crushed PET bottle, the work points to the use of resources and the issue of waste.

The sculpture symbolises the way we deal with water in every respect, whether as precious drinking water or in terms of the pollution of our waters.

The choice of marble as a material allegorises a decadent consumer society that values neither worth nor aesthetics; because every crushed plastic bottle is a unique form. The size and the alienation of the material in relation to the original plastic object evoke a sense of surreality. Placed in nature, the white stone shines like a foreign body and points to the fact that plastic waste does not belong in nature.
